Hazardous WASTE MANAGEMENT

The guiding principle is to first investigate Waste Reduction / Pollution Prevention options & later to achieve required degree of treatment for the waste by typically utilizing combination of several processes or equipment at the least cost.

Air Pollution Management :

Control of particulate & gaseous pollutants using systems based on the following equipment :
*  Cyclones
*  Bag-houses
*  Wet Scrubbers - Spray; Cyclonic; Packed; Ventury
Adsorbers

Hazardous Wastewater Management :

Systems are designed based on data & experience gained after running pilot tests on actual wastewater.

The treatment would include combination of the following :

*  Physical phase separation using -
        Thin film evaporation
        Distillation
        Air / Steam stripping
        Liquid - Liquid extraction

*  Chemical treatment -
         Neutralization
         Precipitation
         Cyanide destruction
         Chromium reduction
         Electrolysis
         Ion exchange

*  Incineration with exhaust gas treatment
          Incineration types include -
          Liquid Injection
          Rotary Kiln
          Fixed Hearth
